In her current role, Carina is responsible for the definition and implementation of IWC’s global sustainability strategy, ensuring that sustainability is integrated in every aspect of the Maison’s operations. Transforming sustainability from a siloed function to a universal business ethos, is one of her main responsibilities along IWC’s transformation. Her journey in Sustainability began with IWC in 2012, where she pioneered the Maison’s inaugural sustainability strategy, successfully steering it for over four years. Before returning to IWC in 2021, Carina headed the sustainability departments at Lidl Switzerland (FMCG) and MCM Worldwide (Fashion), where she led the development of both companies’ first sustainability strategies. Carina holds a degree in engineering and has recently been nominated amongst the Top100 Sustainability Leaders in Europe. In addition to her corporate achievements, Carina held a pro bono mandate as a Managing Director for a foundation supporting small mining communities in South America, reflecting her commitment to global sustainability and corporate responsibility.
