With over 27 years of experience in automotive communications, Wayne has held executive positions at McLaren Automotive, Infiniti, Nissan, and Volkswagen Group, including roles at SEAT and Volkswagen UK . Wayne’s journey into the automotive industry began with a chance encounter in a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot in the U.S., where he photographed a prototype Rover 200 Convertible and sold the image to a car magazine in the UK. This serendipitous event sparked his passion for cars and led to a career in automotive journalism and public relations . At Bentley, Wayne has been instrumental in launching key models such as the hybrid Bentayga, the third and fourth generation Continental GT, and the latest Flying Spur. He also played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Mulliner brand . Beyond his professional achievements, Wayne is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion. He initiated Bentley’s #BelongingAtBentley program, which includes the BeProud LGBTQ+ network and the BeAccessible neurodiversity network, fostering an inclusive culture within the company .
